Installation
The top mount design allows for easy attachment to the chimney crown or brick using chimney adhesive and masonry screws (included). The 1.5″ wide hinged mounting flange provides flexibility for positioning the flange either inside or outside the mesh screen, ensuring a snug fit.
To install, place the chimney cap onto the crown, mark the hole positions for the screws (typically 4–8 screws), lift the mounting flange, and apply a bead of silicone underneath. Drill pilot holes and secure the cap with the masonry screws.
For a custom fit, provide your measurements for the mesh screen, and we will fabricate it accordingly to meet your needs.

Measuring for Your Chimney Cap:
To ensure the best fit, provide your chimney’s exact measurements. For proper ventilation, the height of the mesh screen should be at least 6″ taller than the tallest flue tile. For example, if the tallest flue is 6″, order a screen height of at least 12″. For outside mount installations, add at least 1/4″ to both the length and width for a snug fit.
Please note: This cap is made custom per order and is non-returnable. The fabrication time is typically 2-3 weeks, with an additional week for optional powder coating.
